Privacy Policy
In short: Audience Labs turns your stream recordings into short clips. To do that we store your account details, the videos you give us and what we derive from them (transcripts, highlights, clips). AI models process transcript excerpts to find highlights and write captions. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your videos or transcripts to train generative AI models. Unsaved recordings are deleted automatically after 30 days.
1. Who we are
Audience Labs is a personal project in a free private beta. It is not a company and it does not sell anything. The website audiencelabs.net and the Audience Labs web application (together, the “Service”) are run by Kaan KUZU, the individual developer who runs Audience Labs, based in Türkiye (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, and the “veri sorumlusu” (data controller) within the meaning of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).
If a company is formed to run the Service, it will take over as data controller. We will update this policy and tell you before that happens.
For anything related to privacy, write to info@audiencelabs.net.
The Service is currently in a private beta: access is by invitation, and features, limits and this policy may change before a public launch. We will tell you about material changes as described in section 13.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Beta access requests. What you enter in the request-access form: your email address, and optionally your name, main channel link, streaming platform and a note. We also keep the time of the request, which version of our terms you agreed to, and a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) to limit abuse and repeated submissions.
- Account data. Your email address when you sign in with a one-time email link. If you sign in with Twitch, we receive your Twitch account identifier, username, display name, profile picture and the email address on your Twitch account.
- Content. Links to recordings (VODs) you submit, video files you upload, and assets you add such as logos and intro or outro clips.
- Preferences and edits. Brand settings, caption styles, content type, word corrections, titles, hashtags and other text you write or edit in the app, and your decisions in the review and publish queues.
- Channels you track. Twitch or Kick channel names you ask us to watch for new recordings.
- Messages. What you send us by email, including feedback about the beta.
Information we create from your content
- Copies of your recordings and their audio. When you submit a link, we download the recording from the streaming platform and keep a copy so clips can be cut from it.
- Transcripts with word-level timestamps, produced by speech recognition that runs on our own processing servers.
- Speaker labels. Where enabled, we separate the voices in a recording into anonymous labels (for example “Speaker 1”) so captions and framing can follow who is talking. We do not identify who a speaker is, and we do not keep voice prints after processing.
- Audio signals such as loudness, pitch, laughter, shouting and silence, used to spot high-energy moments.
- Analysis results: chapters, highlight moments, scores, suggested titles, captions, hooks and platform descriptions.
- Rendered clips and thumbnails.
Recordings often contain other people, such as guests, co-streamers or chat. We process them only as part of the content you give us, and only to make your clips. See section 8.
Information from platforms you connect
If you connect a publishing account, we receive and store an access token (and, where the platform issues one, a refresh token), its expiry time, the permissions you granted, and an account identifier:
- YouTube: your channel ID; permission to upload videos and to read your channel and video statistics.
- TikTok: your TikTok open ID and basic profile; permission to upload and publish videos.
- Instagram: your Instagram professional account ID and linked Facebook Page ID; permission to publish Reels and read how they perform.
After we publish a clip for you, we periodically read its public performance numbers (views, likes, comments, shares, saves and, where available, watch time) at about 1 hour, 24 hours, 48 hours and 7 days after publishing.
Information collected automatically
- Technical logs. Our hosting providers record requests to the Service, including IP address, browser type, the page requested and timestamps, for security and troubleshooting.
- Performance measurements. We use Vercel Speed Insights, which measures how fast pages load (for example Largest Contentful Paint). It does not use cookies or build a profile of you.
- Cookies and local storage that are needed to sign you in and remember your display settings. See the Cookie Notice.
We do not use advertising trackers, social-media pixels or cross-site analytics.
3. How we use it, and on what legal basis
Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have weighed it against your rights; you can object at any time (section 9).
4. How AI is used
Speech recognition, speaker separation and audio analysis run on our own processing servers. To find highlights and write titles, captions and hooks, we send excerpts of the transcript and related context (such as the recording’s title and your chosen content type) to large language models through OpenRouter. Our primary model is Claude, made by Anthropic. If it is unavailable, a request may be answered by our fallback model, Google Gemini, also through OpenRouter. We do not use free model tiers. We do not send your video files to these models.
We do not use your recordings, transcripts or clips to train generative AI models. What each model provider may do with the excerpts it receives is governed by its own terms; Anthropic’s commercial terms do not allow it to train models on API inputs by default. We do train our own small ranking model on numeric clip features and engagement numbers (not on video, audio or text) to suggest better highlights. That model may be trained on data from one user (to personalise ranking) or on combined data from all users.
AI output can be wrong. Highlights, captions and descriptions are suggestions: you review and approve every clip before it is published. We make no automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with:
- Service providers (processors) that run the Service for us under contracts that limit how they may use the data:
- Platforms you tell us to publish to (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram). When you schedule a clip, we send the video and its caption, title, description and hashtags to that platform, where its own terms and privacy policy apply.
- Streaming platforms (Twitch, Kick) when we fetch a recording or check a channel you track for new recordings. We use their public interfaces and send only what is needed to identify the recording or channel.
- Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
- A successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, who would have to honour this policy.
6. International transfers
Our database is hosted in the European Union, but several providers process data in the United States and other countries. When data leaves Türkiye, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards the law provides, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and the standard contracts provided for under Article 9 of KVKK. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
When you delete your account we delete your personal data and content within 30 days, except what we must keep by law. Ranking models that were already trained do not contain your videos, audio or text and are not rebuilt.
8. Other people in your recordings
If your recordings include other people, you are responsible for having the right to use their image and voice in clips you create and publish. If someone who appears in a recording processed through the Service wants to exercise their rights, they can contact us and we will help, which may include deleting the affected material.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing;
- under KVKK Article 11, learn whether your data is processed, its purpose, the third parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad, object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
To use these rights, email info@audiencelabs.net. We may need to confirm your identity. We answer within one month (GDPR) and at the latest within 30 days (KVKK). You can also delete content yourself in the app, disconnect publishing accounts at any time, and follow the steps on our data deletion section.
You can complain to a data protection authority: in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK); in the EU, the authority in your country of residence; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office.
California and other US states
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You can ask to know, correct or delete your personal information using the email above, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
10. Platform-specific information
YouTube
Audience Labs uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We use the YouTube data we receive only to upload clips you approve and to show you how they perform. You can revoke our access at any time from Google’s security settings or by disconnecting YouTube in the app; we then delete the stored tokens immediately and delete or refresh other YouTube API data within 30 days, as YouTube’s policies require.
TikTok and Instagram
We use the TikTok Content Posting API and the Instagram Graph API only to publish clips you approve and to read their performance. You can revoke access from the platform’s own settings or by disconnecting the account in the app.
Twitch and Kick
Twitch sign-in is handled through our authentication provider; we use your Twitch profile only to create and identify your account. We fetch recordings only from links you submit or channels you ask us to track.
11. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Our database and file storage providers encrypt data at rest. Access to user data is limited by row-level security, so each account can only read its own records, and media files are shared with your browser only through short-lived signed links. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
12. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change and change the date at the top. If a change is material, we will tell signed-in users by email or in the app before it takes effect.
14. Contact
Kaan KUZU. Email: info@audiencelabs.net.
Terms of Use
In short: Audience Labs is in a free, invite-only private beta. You keep ownership of your content and give us the rights we need to turn it into clips. You must have the rights to what you upload and publish. The beta is provided as is, it may change or stop, and you should keep your own copies of anything important.
1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and Kaan KUZU, the individual developer who runs Audience Labs (“we”, “us”) for the use of audiencelabs.net and the Audience Labs application (the “Service”). Audience Labs is a personal project, not a company. If a company is formed to run the Service, it will take over these Terms and we will tell you first. By requesting access, creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and confirm you have read our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organisation, you accept these Terms on its behalf and confirm you are authorised to do so.
2. Private beta
- Access is by invitation only. Requesting access does not guarantee an invitation, and we may limit, pause or end any beta account.
- The Service is free during the beta. We do not sell anything or take payments. Usage limits (such as processing time or storage, currently up to 25 GB of saved content) may apply. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan.
- Beta features are unfinished. They may contain errors, change without notice, or be removed. We may reset or migrate beta data, although we will try to give notice first.
- Unless we agree otherwise in writing, keep information about unreleased features confidential and do not publish benchmarks of the beta.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email and sign-in methods secure. Tell us promptly at info@audiencelabs.net if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Your content
“Your Content” means the recordings, links, files, text and other material you submit, and the clips, transcripts, captions and descriptions the Service produces from them for you.
- You keep ownership. We claim no ownership of Your Content.
- Licence to us. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transcribe, analyse, edit, render and transmit Your Content, only as needed to provide the Service to you, including sending it to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy and publishing it where you instruct us. The licence ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies we must keep by law.
- Your responsibility. You confirm that you own Your Content or have every right, licence and permission needed to submit it and to have it processed and published, including permission from people who appear or speak in it and from the rights holders of any music, gameplay, footage or other third-party material in it. Submitting another creator’s recording requires their permission.
- Retention. Recordings you do not save are deleted after 30 days, and earlier clip versions after 7 days. The Service is not a backup: keep your own copies.
5. AI-generated output
The Service uses AI models, including Claude by Anthropic, to suggest highlights, titles, captions, hooks and descriptions. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable, and similar output may be produced for other users. Review every clip and every piece of text before you publish it: you decide what is published and you are responsible for it. Virality scores and grades are estimates, not promises of performance.
6. Connected platforms and publishing
When you connect a third-party account and schedule a clip, you authorise us to publish it to that account on your behalf, at the time you choose. Your use of each platform is governed by its own terms, which you must follow, including its rules on content, copyright and disclosure of AI-assisted or sponsored content:
- Twitch Terms of Service
- Kick Terms of Service
- YouTube Terms of Service
- TikTok Terms of Service
- Instagram Terms of Service
By connecting YouTube you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. We are not responsible for a platform’s decisions, outages, changes to its interfaces, or actions it takes on your account or content. Platforms may limit or reject automated uploads; publishing may fail, and we may stop supporting a platform.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- process or publish content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, promotes violence or hatred, harasses people, or is deceptive, including impersonation and misleading synthetic media;
- break the terms of a streaming or social media platform, or help others do so;
- send spam, inflate engagement artificially, or publish to accounts you are not authorised to use;
- probe, scan or attack the Service, bypass usage limits or access controls, or access other users’ data;
- scrape the Service, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use it to build a competing product;
- use the Service in a way that breaks the usage policies of the AI providers we rely on, including Anthropic’s Usage Policy.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe break these rules, and we may report illegal content to the authorities.
8. Copyright complaints
If you believe material processed or published through the Service infringes your rights, email info@audiencelabs.net with your contact details, the work concerned, where the material is, and a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised and that the information is accurate. Material already published on a third-party platform should also be reported to that platform, which controls it there.
9. Our service and brand
We and our licensors own the Service, its software, design and the Audience Labs name and logo. Subject to these Terms, we give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service during the beta. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you. Third-party names and trademarks are covered in our Trademark Notice.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or when the beta ends, with notice where reasonably possible. After termination we delete Your Content as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as sections 4 (your responsibility), 9, 11, 12 and 14, continue to apply.
11. Disclaimer
The beta is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability or that the Service will be error-free, and we do not guarantee any audience, views or revenue from clips.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, audience or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights that the law of your country of residence does not allow to be waived.
13. Your responsibility to us
If a third party makes a claim against us because of Your Content, your publishing, or your breach of these Terms, you will cover the reasonable costs and damages that result, to the extent the law allows. This does not apply to consumers where the law prohibits it.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring proceedings in, and rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws of, their country of residence. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the updated Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account.
16. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a successor of our business. Notices to you may be sent by email or shown in the app; notices to us go to info@audiencelabs.net.

Data Deletion
In short: you can delete recordings and clips yourself, disconnect any publishing account in one click, or ask us to delete your whole account by email. We complete account deletion within 30 days.
1. What is deleted automatically
- Recordings you do not save, and everything made from them, are deleted 30 days after you add them.
- Earlier versions of a clip are deleted after 7 days.
2. Deleting content in the app
Saved clips and archived versions can be deleted from the Storage page (“Depolama” in the app) and from each recording’s page. Saving a recording can be undone at any time, which puts it back on the 30-day schedule.
3. Disconnecting YouTube, TikTok or Instagram
In the app, open Integrations and choose Disconnect. We delete the stored access tokens and account identifiers immediately and stop publishing and reading statistics for that account. You can also revoke access on the platform’s side:
Removing access on the platform does not delete clips that were already published there; delete those on the platform itself.
4. Deleting your account and all data
- Email info@audiencelabs.net from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
- We may ask you to confirm the request to make sure it comes from you.
- Within 30 days we delete your account, recordings, transcripts, analyses, clips, archives, connected-account tokens, publishing history and performance numbers from our database and file storage, and we confirm by email.
We keep only what the law requires us to keep. Short-lived copies in our providers’ backups and logs expire on their own schedules. If you signed in with Twitch, you can also remove Audience Labs from your Twitch connections.
If you requested beta access but never got an account, email us and we will delete your request.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
